Washington, D.C. Spanish & French Student Field Trip Itinerary
The Spanish Colonial Lobby of the OAS Headquarters Building Our French and Spanish trip to Washington, DC is a sampling of Spanish, Mexican, French and American cultures, intended for groups of language students traveling from locations on the East Coast from which a trip to New York City (not to mention Spain or France) might not be practical or possible. Students of Spanish will visit the Spanish colonial OAS Headquarters and Museum (pictured above), view the remarkable murals depicting the history of Mexico at the Mexican Cultural Institute, and then take a tango lesson from a professional instructor. French students will, with the French-born Pierre Charles L'Enfant-designed city as a backdrop, view some unforgettable works of the French Masters at the National Gallery and dine at a fine French restaurant. Needless to say, the monuments and institutions of Washington, DC will surround and inspire visiting students from the beginning to the end of their trip. |
