| Day 1 | |
| 8:00 AM | Depart school on a deluxe, climate-controlled and restroom-equipped motorcoach. |
| 12:00 PM | Arrive at Rockefeller Center, "the heart of New York", meet your Winged Victory USA Tour
guide at the corner of 49th Street and Rockefeller Plaza. Your guide will take you on a short orientation tour that will begin at the world-famous lower plaza, where one of your classmates can take your picture in front of the gilded statue of Prometheus, and will end at an underground McDonald's where you'll be free for an inexpensive lunch at your own expense. |
| 1:30 PM | After lunch, you can walk to the adjacent Today Show studio which is easily visible through large street-level windows, or visit NBC Experience where you can actually videotape an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno or do the weather forecast on the Today Show with Al Roker. |
| 2:15 PM | Meet the bus and transfer to the Apollo Theatre. |
| 3:00 PM | Enjoy a 1 hour Apollo Theater Backstage Tour! This fabulous tour: Re-connects the past to the present and to the future; Reveals significant contributions of African-Americans and Latinos to the birth of global popular culture; Discloses little known facts about the theater and the legendary people who performed here; Tells the dramatic story of a proud people, an aspiring community and the rapid growth of a small idea. AFTERNOON OPTION #2 (instead of Apollo Tour): approx $3 more/person Enjoy a one hour guided NBC Studio Tour, which lets you see where popular shows like Saturday Night Live, Late Night With Conan O'Brien and NBC News are taped. |
| 4:15 PM | Transfer to the world famous Central Park, and enjoy some rest and relaxation time in the beautiful scenery, where true New Yorkers escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. |
| 5:30 PM | Meet the bus and transfer to dinner. |
| 6:15 PM | Enjoy dinner at the Hard Rock Café in New York City!Riding front and center on this multi-culture rodeo, we refer to as "The Big Apple", is the Hard Rock Café- Manhattan, situated between 7th Avenue and Broadway, amidst vital N.Y.C energies. Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Carnegie Hall and Central Park are all within walking distance from our great restaurant here (only the third Hard Rock to be built in this great nation). |
| 7:15 PM | Enjoy a Broadway show in New York City's theatre district! |
| 10:30 PM | Board the bus and depart for your hotel to check in and get some well-deserved rest! |
| 10:45 PM | Arrive at and check-in to your rooms at The Sheraton-
Meadowlands, right across the river, in New Jersey!The newly renovated, 21-story Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel and Conference Center is right by the Meadowlands Sports Complex - New Jersey's premier center for sports, entertainment and special events. The 427-room hotel has a large amount of meeting space, including a conference center and the largest ballroom in all of northern New Jersey. |
| 11:00 PM | Overnight Security begins. |
| Day 2 | |
| 7:00 AM | Full American Breakfast Buffet in the hotel, which will include: Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, home fried potatoes, french toast, bakery items, cereals, yogurts, fruits, juice, coffee, tea. |
| 8:00 AM | After breakfast, reassemble in the lobby, meet your bus and depart for Manhattan. You will meet your guide en route, at the corner of 10th Avenue and 42nd Street. You will then begin a New York City sightseeing tour that will end in the Theatre District.. |
| 10:00 AM | Begin your "Official Theatre Tour", the "Broadway Open House", an easy two-hour, expertly guided "insiders" walking tour of the Great White Way, New York's historic theatre district. You will trace the footsteps of legendary Broadway stars of yesteryear up through today's hit shows. You'll gain access to the interiors of at least two beautifully restored playhouses and get the exclusive inside scoop from behind-the scenes with well-prepared, knowledgeable guides. |
| 12:00 PM | Promptly transfer to the Trump Tower for lunch. |
| 12:20 PM | Arrive at the Trump Tower and walk through the IBM Atrium and into the beautiful lobby of Trump Tower. There, you can have lunch at your own expense in the lower level, or you can easily walk to McDonald's on 57th Street. |
| 1:15 PM | Meet the bus between the IBM Atrium and Sony Plaza, and depart for your 2pm show. |
| 2:00 PM | Enjoy a matinee Broadway show in New York City's theatre district! |
| 4:00 PM | Depart for Sony Wonder. |
| 4:30 PM | Arrive at SonyWonder, a hands-on technology lab where you
will log in and go behind the scenes to learn how a multitude
of electronic technologies work.Upon arrival at SonyWonder you will record your name, image and voice on your personalized ID Card, then stroll through four floors of interactive exhibits that will teach you about communications technologies, robotics engineering, medical imaging as well as radio and television production, among many, many other things. Be sure to visit the SonyWonder Museum Store which features a wide range of educational materials, Sony software and electronic products and souvenirs. |
| 6:00 PM | Depart for dinner in Times Square. |
| 6:30 PM | Enjoy your dinner at Planet Hollywood, in the heart of Times Square!
The restaurant is located across from the MTV Studios, and can sometimes be spotted in the
background of the popular show "TRL." DINNER OPTION #2: (approx $13 more/person) Instead of dinner at Planet Hollywood: Arrive in the Theatre District, where you’ll begin an evening of French culture with dinner at Pigalle, a warm, beautifully lit casual French restaurant in the heart of New York’s Theater District. (this restaurant requires groups be seated by 5:15pm) |
| 7:45 PM | After dinner, you'll walk across the street, into the center of Times Square, where you will stop briefly at 7:45pm for a group photograph, then walk back to the 75,000 square foot Virgin Megastore, the largest record and entertainment store in the world. |
| 9:00 PM | Return to your hotel. |
| 9:30 PM | Overnight Security begins. |
| Day 3 | |
| 7:00 AM | Full American Breakfast Buffet in the hotel, which will include: Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, home fried potatoes, french toast, bakery items, cereals, yogurts, fruits, juice, coffee, tea. |
| 8:00 AM | Check out of your rooms, place your bags on the bus, and depart for Manhattan. You will meet your guide en route at the corner of 10th Avenue and 42nd Street. Then transfer to Battery Park. |
| 8:45 AM | Arrive at Battery Park, the birthplace of New York City, in
Lower Manhattan.At 9:15am, board the Circle Line ferry for a short ride to Liberty Island, where you will have about 20 minutes to take photographs of the 300-foot-high Statue of Liberty. It's copper skin is hung on a central tower designed by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, who is somewhat better known for the Eiffel Tower in Paris. At 10 :00am, re-board the ferry to Ellis Island. There, you'll visit the magnificently restored immigration depot through which seventeen million people passed between 1892 and 1954, during the greatest wave of migration the world has ever known. At 11:45am, after your Ellis Island visit, you'll board the Circle Line ferry for the last time, and return to Battery Park, during which you'll get quite a magnificent view of Lower Manhattan. |
| 12:15 PM | Meet the bus and transfer to South Street Seaport. |
| 12:30 PM | Upon arrival at the historic Seaport (the heart of the 19th century port of New York) you will have an inexpensive lunch at your own expense and then be free for 1/2 hour for souvenirshopping and picture-taking at one of New York City's most popular attractions. |
| 1:45 PM | Meet the bus and transfer back to the theatre district for a workshop. |
| 2:30 PM | Begin your 90 minute "Young At Arts" Theatre Workshop. There's no business like show business! This program enables novices to become showbiz insiders. The interactive workshop imaginatively creates a collaborative theatrical environment as students divide into teams to develop their own Broadway production. The 90- minute session educates while entertainment giving a deeper understanding and appreciation of the creation of a Broadway show. You will be sent a study guide for the Broadway show you select. You'll be able to guide your students with ease as you prepare for your Broadway theatre adventure. |
| 4:00 PM | Meet the bus and begin your journey home, exhausted yet forever enriched. |
